Offshore and Specialist Ships Australia (OSSA), a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity acting as trustee of The OSSA Scholarship Fund, is offering an exciting Mentoring & Support Program for qualified tradespeople ready to transition into a career as a Marine Engineer.
What's on Offer?
Successful applicants will receive:
- Financial assistance to complete STCW/AMSA-approved Safety for Life at sea training at a nominated TAFE or the Australian Maritime College (AMC), Launceston
- Mentoring from experienced maritime professionals
- Placement with an approved shipping company as a Trainee Engineer
- Direct onboard guidance from a vessel!s Chief Engineer
